How to Participate in LBP
What is LBP?
LBP (Liquidity Bootstrapping Pool) is a type of smart pool that changes the weight of tokens in the pool over time, and is a variant of Dutch auctions or reverse auctions. Over time, if no one buys, its price will decrease.
Please understand how it works before participating in LBP, and ensure to purchase within a reasonable price range without FOMO. If there are no participants buying, Balancer will change its predetermined pool weights to lower the price.
The O3 LBP will start selling at 15:00 Beijing time on May 13, 2021, and will end at 21:00 on May 14, for a total of 30 hours. We will auction 3.5% of the total supply of O3 tokens using Balancer's Liquidity Bootstrapping Pool (LBP) to capture the true value of O3.
Key Parameters of O3 LBP
At the start of LBP, we will input 3.5 million O3 and 800,000 USDC, with a starting price of $5.49 per token. For details, please see

Reminder:
Since this is a reverse auction, remain rational before making any trading decisions.
The default maximum slippage is 1%. If your order is large, please increase the slippage a bit.
How to Buy
After the LBP starts at 15:00 on May 13, click https://balancer.exchange/#/swap.
Click "Connect" in the upper right corner and select the wallet as shown in the picture.
- After connecting the wallet, return to the homepage and select "Assets".
In the LBP, purchase O3 in the trading pair O3/USDC.
Please ensure you have enough ETH in your wallet to pay for gas fees.
If you choose other assets, Balancer will automatically convert them to USDC and then trade for O3. Additional steps may lead to increased transaction fees.
- Enter the O3 contract address: 0xEe9801669C6138E84bD50dEB500827b776777d28, and ensure the address is correct.
- Enter a reasonable price and quantity, then click "Swap".
How to Participate in O3 Swap's Stablecoin Cross-Chain Mining
USD-LP
By adding stablecoin liquidity from mainstream blockchain networks like Ethereum/BSC/Heco to the Cross-chain Pool in the Hub section, Deposit generates cross-chain stablecoin LP (USDT/BUSD/HUSD), referred to as USD-LP.
Subsequently, staking USD-LP in the Vault interface can earn O3 Token rewards, with the status pending unlock.
O3/USDT-LP
By getting LP through Uniswap, add O3/USDT liquidity to generate O3/USDT-LP. This LP token can be staked to produce two benefits:
Stake to participate in mining and earn O3 in a pending unlock status.
Stake to unlock O3 that is frozen in the account.
O3 Staking
Circulating O3 in Swap can be directly staked to earn pending unlock O3 rewards.
