A brief history of Shitcoin ShiB: It is a "social experiment about zero."
This article was published on the Wu Lang public account.
A few days ago, I published an article about the shitcoin SHIB.
In the B circle, you must have SHIB; if you still don't know what SHIB is, or if you don't have SHIB yet, then all that's left for you is: regret!
This has sparked intense discussions in the community. Some people think SHIB is just a joke, just a pile of shit, while others believe SHIB is quite appealing. Some think the Chinese name for SHIB is inappropriate and that "Shiba Inu" is more suitable as the Chinese name for SHIB. Each has their own perspective and preferences; everyone can enjoy it in their own way.
SHIB is more suitable for colloquial use, so in the future, when I write articles, I will try to use "SHIB" more and "shitcoin" less.
None of this is important!
What matters is, how do you understand SHIB? Many people, upon seeing this crude name, immediately dismiss SHIB as garbage and throw it into the trash, which is a bit shortsighted.
When I first saw the concept and vision of SHIB, perhaps it was my own imagination! I couldn't wait to take a big bite of shit.
Today,
IC, IP, IQ cards, all tell you the password;
Let's chat casually yet seriously about the past and present of SHIB;
SHIB was initially established by a leadership group composed of well-known figures in the Telegram community. The purpose of this group is to allocate skills within the community to appropriate roles for the development of SHIB and to reach consensus on future decisions regarding SHIB. Anyone with resources, technology, or time can voluntarily contribute to the development, growth, and promotion of SHIB. In front of shitcoin SHIB, everyone is equal; all beings are equal, and everything starts from zero.
SHIB is a purely decentralized, spontaneously community-built social experiment.
This sentence constitutes the core idea and core value of SHIB,
This can be broken down into three core points:
- All from ZERO, that is, pure;
- Decentralized spontaneous community;
- Social experiment;
The three core values of SHIB align with the spirit of blockchain; SHIB is the best embodiment of a truly decentralized blockchain project.
Let me elaborate slowly; first, let's talk about "social experiment."
As we all know, Bitcoin is a social experiment about monetary reform, but what kind of experiment is SHIB?
SHIB is a social experiment about zero; it is a social experiment that starts everything from zero, an all from zero social experiment. This should be noted down.
The founder has always had a lingering thought: is there something in the crypto world or real life that truly starts from zero, that is "purely purely purely hundred percent all from zero," rather than just talking about it while hiding their own interests behind the scenes?
I think the founding team might have had their heads slammed in the door; what’s there to experiment with? Each of us is a living experiment; we are all in a reality of all from zero and end with zero, coming into this world naked and leaving without a trace.
So, this resolves many people's confusion about why they feel there are so many zeros when they first see SHIB, aside from zero, it’s still zero.
For example:
The total supply of SHIB is one quadrillion, which is 1,000,000,000,000,000, count the zeros yourself, there are 15 zeros. This should be the largest total issuance in the crypto world, right?
The initial price of SHIB starts at 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001. Yes, the "number of zeros" here is a relative value, not an absolute value; in short, the price of SHIB starts with countless zeros.
3. SHIBARMY (the English name for the Shib community, which I call: the Shitcoin Army) has a grand vision: eat zero, that is, SHIB aims to eliminate all zeros in price, that is, to eat away one zero after another behind the decimal point;
For example:
The initial price of SHIB was: 0.000,000,000,0001;
Six months ago, the price was: 0.000,000,000,01; eat away two zeros;
Six months ago, the price was: 0.000,000,000,1; eat away one zero;
Three months ago, the price was: 0.000,000,001; eat away one zero;
And today’s price is: 0.000,001,747; there are still five zeros after the decimal point;
Three months later, six months later, one year later, will the number of zeros after the decimal point become four, three, or two?
Even, in the end, eat all zero, that is, eliminate all zeros, turning into 0.1;
If all zeros are eliminated, will you become the governor of your province? (One character is omitted here; if you guess it, you win);
A long time ago, a friend from Fujian told me that if he could hold onto SHIB for a long time, his wealth would surpass that of a certain person in Fujian;
When I first heard this, I felt a shock, a big bite of SHIB.
SHIB is a social experiment about zero; everything is zero.
all from zero;
start from zero;
end with zero;
eat zero;
from zero to zero;
everything is zero;
The rest is up to your imagination, and you are welcome to leave comments.
Next, let's talk about "pure" and "decentralization." Why are these two concepts discussed together?
Because you are in me, and I am in you;
Because if you can't achieve "purity," then talking about "decentralization" is just pseudo-decentralization;
Let’s see how SHIB achieves "pure decentralization."
The founder of SHIB, Ryoshi, is an old hand in the circle; he has always been fascinated by the genesis of decentralized communities. More specifically, he has been thinking about how, to some extent, through technical means, to ensure and create a decentralized project that starts from zero (all from ZERO), just like Dogecoin and Bitcoin, which are purely without centralized organizations.
Since the advent of the crypto world, various projects have emerged, some bizarre and some of poor quality, all more or less mixed with the shadows of the founders and founding teams. Even if there is just a hint of shadow or interest in the project, it cannot be considered purely decentralized, nor can it be considered all from zero.
Therefore, when designing SHIBA as a social experiment, from day one, the founders and team selflessly gave up their own and the team's interests. Even they can only purchase SHIB on the market. In plain language, "I and you are all on the same starting line, starting from zero, and I will work without pay; from the very first millisecond of existence, I directly returned it to the community," rather than like some projects that, after scamming 4 billion dollars, say, "sorry, we returned it to the community."
So how can we ensure the purity between the team and SHIB? Also, how can we ensure all from ZERO, and how can we achieve it?
There are three principles.
Principle one:
The funding investment of the founder Ryoshi and the team in the SHIB project is: 0;
Principle two:
The founder Ryoshi and the team are equal to all beings; anyone who wants to obtain SHIB must purchase it from the market. Therefore, there is no such thing as this being Ryoshi's coin, nor is it the project party's or management's coin; this is a purely community coin; if you buy it and hold it, it is your coin; if Zhang San buys and holds it, it is Zhang San's coin; if Li Si buys and holds it, it is Li Si's coin;
Principle three:
The team does not hold SHIB; the team is just volunteers or initiators; we have no money to list SHIB on exchanges. However, in fact, on April 17, more than ten exchanges at home and abroad rushed to list SHIB, and in my time in the crypto circle, I have never seen such a hot project, with more than ten exchanges rushing to list a project on the same day.
If the content in the first half only piqued my research interest in SHIB, then the clever design in the second half captured my soul, making me infatuated and ecstatic.
Clever Design One:
The total supply of SHIB is one quadrillion, half of which, 500 trillion, was directly given to Vitalik Buterin. This is equivalent to (or hopes that) half of SHIB will be permanently destroyed, forever returning to zero; it is equivalent to Satoshi Nakamoto's address with over 1 million BTC, which will never move;
Transferring half of SHIB to Vitalik Buterin places him at the same height as Satoshi Nakamoto, expressing high respect for Bitcoin and Satoshi Nakamoto, strongly advocating for the blockchain social experiment, and hoping that Vitalik will, like Satoshi, forever uphold the spirit of blockchain and never move those 500 trillion SHIB. Here, "never move" is just a vision; whether it will move or not depends entirely on Vitalik's mood;
Clever Design Two:
The other half of the 500 trillion SHIB was paired with 10 ETH to create a trading pair or "liquidity pool," written into the contract; I call it: the cesspool, deployed on Uniswap, and the private key of the cesspool was discarded, permanently destroyed.
What is the purpose of this cesspool?
This clever design alleviates the concerns of SHIB holders about returning to zero, eliminating worries about not being able to sell SHIB and being stuck with it. Assuming there isn't a single buyer in the market, you can still sell to the "cesspool"; therefore, the worst outcome of holding SHIB is to exchange it for some ETH from the cesspool, with no limit on quantity, it could be a lot or very little. So, the worst outcome of holding SHIB is to mutually acknowledge each other as SB with the cesspool.
Moreover, this cesspool is a black hole; as more and more people hold SHIB and the trading volume of SHIB becomes more active, this cesspool will accumulate more and more ETH. In the future, this cesspool could become a priceless treasure, (potentially) becoming the address with the most ETH holdings. (Disclaimer: I don't understand technology; the above is purely my imagination. If you understand technology, feel free to contact me to solve this mystery together, correct my understanding, and give SHIB a proper explanation).
Therefore, discarding the private key of the cesspool is another great feat. Once again, everything returns to zero, everything is a practice of returning to zero. We, once again, make SHIB great again.
Such a clever design can be described as a stroke of genius, turning shit into gold, directly touching people's hearts.
At this point, you probably understand why SHIB has been so popular these days, even for a long time, being praised by communities and exchanges at home and abroad, sweeping through the circle, and taking pride in holding SHIB.
Because,
SHIB truly, through technical means, achieved, this is not my coin; this is your coin, unrelated to "me"; if you hold SHIB, then SHIB is your coin, so every "Shitcoin Army" is voluntarily working hard to promote "eat zero."
SHIB truly solves the "equality of all beings" problem that society cannot solve; SHIB truly achieves, all beings start from zero, all return to zero, everything is for zero, unrelated to anyone or any organization, unrelated to the project party, the team, or volunteers. It only concerns the holders of SHIB.
This social experiment about zero, you can participate if you want, or not participate if you don't want; it doesn't concern you. However, in fact, the vast majority of people have chosen to embrace SHIB, participate in this social experiment, and join this "eat zero" experiment. As more and more people participate, this experiment about zero is increasingly likely to be realized, increasingly likely to eat more and more zeros, with the ultimate goal of: eliminating all zeros.
Now you know why the price of SHIB has soared, skyrocketing, increasing tens of thousands of times without looking back, right? Because this is a social experiment where everyone works for me, I work for everyone, everything is for zero, everything starts from zero, and all beings are equal. This experiment is zero, eat zero, eat more and more zeros, with the ultimate goal of: eliminating all zeros.
When all zeros are eliminated, as a participant in the "returning to zero, being zero, eating zero" social experiment of SHIB, as a holder of SHIB, what are your thoughts, or do you dare to think??
