The 2021 Internet Yuelu Summit · Wanbao Blockchain Forum was held in Loudi

On April 17, the 2021 Internet Yuelu Summit • Wanbao Blockchain Forum, themed "Blockchain and National Data Strategy," opened in Loudi. Renowned experts, scholars, representatives from industry associations, and representatives from blockchain industry enterprises gathered to jointly initiate the "Wanbao Consensus." Loudi Wanbao New District signed 16 project agreements with several internet companies on blockchain smart firefighting, inclusive finance business projects, distributed storage centers, and more.

Currently, new generation information technologies such as 5G, artificial intelligence, industrial internet, big data, and blockchain are thriving and profoundly impacting the economic and social development process. The Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government attach great importance to blockchain development and have issued the "Overall Plan for Blockchain Development in Hunan Province (2020-2025)" in the name of the Provincial Government Office. The plan focuses on implementing development actions for the integration of blockchain and industry, credit co-construction actions for financial blockchain, co-construction and innovation actions for circulation blockchain, and value innovation actions for cultural blockchain.

Since last year, the Hunan Provincial Internet Information Office has strengthened the overall coordination of the healthy and orderly development of blockchain across the province, compiling and releasing six local standards for blockchain security technology evaluation. It has established institutions such as the Hunan Oriental Blockchain Security Technology Testing Center, Tianhe Blockchain Research Institute, Standardization Technical Committee for Blockchain Technology and Distributed Ledger Technology, and the Provincial Blockchain Association. Currently, there are 280 enterprises engaged in blockchain technology development and services in the province, with 108 blockchain patents.

The Hunan Blockchain Forum—2021 Internet Yuelu Summit • Wanbao Blockchain Forum aims to invite entrepreneurs and experts to discuss blockchain technology and industry application issues, promoting innovation in blockchain technology and the healthy and orderly development of the industrial ecosystem. In addition to the main forum at the opening ceremony, three sub-forums will discuss topics such as "Empowering the Real Economy—Blockchain Application Forum," "New Data Economy—Blockchain and Big Data Forum," and "Industry Breakthrough—Smart City Innovation Forum."

At the forum's opening ceremony, Loudi Wanbao New District signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Information Technology Co., Ltd., and signed contracts with companies such as Jindian Lianhang (Beijing) Information Technology Co., Ltd., Anhui Kexun Jinfeng Technology Co., Ltd., and Dongguan Youlian Data Technology Co., Ltd. on 16 projects related to blockchain smart firefighting, inclusive finance business projects, and distributed storage centers.

Since 2016, Loudi has closely focused on building a smart and trustworthy Loudi, conducting a series of explorations and practices around the goal of creating a "Blockchain Industry City." It has established a blockchain development fund and successively introduced over 40 enterprises, including Chain City Data, Smart Government Affairs, Defang Zhichain, and Chain City Data. It has implemented 11 application scenarios, including real estate, digital civil affairs, and financing for small and medium-sized enterprises, expanding its business to multiple provinces and cities such as Beijing, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Sichuan, and Chongqing. The Loudi Blockchain Industrial Park has become the first blockchain industrial park in the country to obtain provincial-level approval.

It is reported that this forum is jointly hosted by the Hunan Provincial Internet Information Office, the Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and the Loudi Municipal People's Government, and co-organized by the Loudi Municipal Internet Information Office, Loudi Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Loudi Wanbao New District Management Committee, Loudi Wanbao New District Development Investment Group Co., Ltd., and the Hunan Provincial Blockchain Association.
