ChainCatcher news, according to local media Portal do Bitcoin, BlackRock will list its iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) on the B3 exchange in Brazil on Wednesday.The ETF will be traded in the form of Brazilian Depositary Receipts (BDR) under the ticker symbol ETHA39. BDRs are certificates that represent shares of foreign companies traded in South American countries.Nicolas Gomez, Head of ETFs, Index Investments, and Products at BlackRock Latin America, stated, "The launch of ETHA39 now allows investors to invest in the two largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization."In March of this year, BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) also began trading on the Brazilian stock exchange, which has become a solid market for institutional products. In addition to Bitcoin and Ethereum, the Brazilian Securities Commission (CVM) recently approved two Solana-based ETFs to be listed on B3.

ChainCatcher news, Europe’s second-largest bank, BNP Paribas, disclosed in its 13F filing submitted on May 1 that it has purchased 1,030 shares of the BlackRock iShares Bitcoin Spot ETF (IBIT), amounting to approximately $41,684.Although this investment is not large, it serves as a stepping stone for the bank in its pursuit of embracing Bitcoin. It is reported that BNP Paribas has an asset management scale of $600 billion.
