ChainCatcher news, industry partner ByteTrade Lab of the FHL Vive Center at the University of California, Berkeley, announced a collaboration and the launch of a new decentralized artificial intelligence infrastructure project, GaiaNet.GaiaNet is a decentralized network that provides secure, censorship-resistant, and profitable AI agents, integrating everyone's proprietary knowledge and skills while protecting privacy. GaiaNet does not establish centralized servers but instead builds a distributed network composed of computing nodes controlled by individuals and businesses, hosting fine-tuned AI models based on the proprietary domain knowledge and expertise of the node operators.According to the vision of GaiaNet, its decentralized infrastructure will help to embrace more educators in a decentralized manner and promote AI teaching applications from elite higher education institutions to the professional development and professional services market. GaiaNet co-founder Shashank Sripada stated, "GaiaNet is also committed to simplifying operations, ensuring that individuals and businesses can easily set up their own nodes and fine-tune AI models using their proprietary knowledge."

ChainCatcher news, Oasis founder and UC Berkeley computer science professor Dawn Song tweeted that Berkeley is hosting a ZKP/web3 hackathon, open to the public from March 1 to May 2.It is reported that this ZKP / Web3 hackathon is organized by Berkeley RDI in collaboration with the ZKP MOOC (with approximately 3,500 global registrations), aiming to bring together all students, researchers, and practitioners to build and showcase their innovative work in ZKP, develop the ZKP community, and advance ZKP technology.
