ChainCatcher news, Coinbase Chief Product Officer Surojit Chatterjee has announced his departure, but he is expected to remain in his role as an advisor to Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong until February 3, 2023.According to a company filing Coinbase submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission last week, after Chatterjee's departure, Coinbase's "product, engineering, and design teams will be reorganized within the product group structure."It is reported that Chatterjee was initially hired by Coinbase from Google with a massive compensation of $646 million. Prior to Genesis, Patchen served as Chief Risk Officer at AQR Capital Management for over five years and has held positions at Carlson Capital, SAC Capital, and Deutsche Bank.It is reported that Genesis has experienced significant talent loss following substantial losses due to Three Arrows Capital. In August, Genesis laid off 20% of its staff, and CEO Michael Moro departed; in September, research head Noelle Acheson and co-head of trading Matt Ballensweig also left. (source link)
