CoCo DAO donates $20,000 in educational supplies to Zambia, partnering with the local government to build a Web3 public welfare ecosystem
The materials were initiated and prepared by the foundation from Hong Kong, China, and have been successfully handed over through efficient execution by local partner organizations, officially landing in the presence of representatives from the Zambian government and local community members.On April 17, 2025, the CoCo DAO Web3 Global Development Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the "CoCo Foundation") successfully completed a $20,000 donation of educational materials in the Kaumbwe constituency of Eastern Province, Zambia. The donation included books, mattresses, student backpacks, and other physical support, aimed at improving the educational and basic living conditions of local vulnerable groups.

Multi-Department Collaboration Promotes Substantial Progress in Web3 Public Welfare
At the donation ceremony, Ms. Angela Kawandami, Permanent Secretary of the Zambian Ministry of Community Development and Social Services, highly praised the timely support from the CoCo Foundation, stating:
"The arrival of these materials not only alleviates the shortage of resources at the grassroots level but also injects strong momentum into our current poverty reduction and social protection strategies."
She expressed that the Zambian government is currently promoting several social welfare programs, including social cash transfers, food security packages, skills training, and women's empowerment, and looks forward to deepening cooperation with more responsible international organizations to enhance the basic living quality of vulnerable groups.
In addition to the high recognition from the central government, local representatives also responded positively to this action. Dr. Aaron Mwanza, Member of Parliament for the Kaumbwe constituency, stated that such donations are of significant practical importance for improving community basic education and infrastructure, and he hopes to continue deepening such cooperative relationships in the future.

Several national fund organizations in Zambia have also expressed strong interest and are exploring deeper strategic collaboration possibilities.
