ChainCatcher news, according to Jinshi reports, on April 11, 2025, at 10:36 PM Eastern Time, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection announced further guidance on the executive order imposing additional tariffs on imported goods issued by the U.S. government on April 2, 2025, as well as the tariff-related executive orders issued on April 7 and April 9.

This includes tariff exemptions for products such as computers, servers, smartphones, printers, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, wireless communication devices (such as base stations, routers, etc.), memory, displays, semiconductor-related components, and integrated circuits.

A 22-page product exemption list on the White House official website shows that if the "U.S. component" of goods originating from any country accounts for 20% or more of the total customs declaration value of the imported goods, then the "U.S. component" will not be subject to additional tariffs, and only the "non-U.S. components" will be subject to equivalent tariffs.
