According to ChainCatcher news reported by Decrypt, FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried has been transferred to the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI Victorville Medium II) in Victorville, California, which is known for its high violence rates and is nicknamed "Victimville."
SBF was sentenced to 25 years in prison in 2023 for defrauding users of over $8 billion. The prison is notorious for its strict racial factions, frequent brawls, and armed assaults, with a harsh living environment. SBF maintains his innocence and is seeking an appeal.
