Institution: Trump's shift in tariff policy is positive, but uncertainty remains
ChainCatcher news, David Cassidy, the investment strategy director at Wilsons Advisory, stated that investors seem to lean towards the view that Trump's so-called reciprocal tariffs will significantly decline before the 90-day suspension period ends. Cassidy said, "Compared to 24 hours ago, we believe this is a significant positive factor for the global and U.S. economy as well as major asset markets." However, he noted that there is still a great deal of uncertainty. Cassidy added, "Although the stock market has rebounded and the outlook has improved, some additional risk premiums on U.S. assets may be permanent or may take years to unwind."
