UBS: Full implementation of tariffs will push US inflation up to 5%
ChainCatcher news, according to Jinshi reports, analyst Eamonn Sheridan stated that UBS previously estimated that if the proposed tariffs were fully implemented, the inflation rate in the United States could rise to around 5% as import costs permeate consumer prices. The analyst believes that if the Federal Reserve considers this increase to be "transitory," they will cut interest rates out of growth fears.
