ChainCatcher news, according to Decrypt, senior investigators from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) intelligence and economic crimes department have been accused of embezzling over $21 million in crypto assets during the investigation of the cryptocurrency exchange Cryptoland.

According to court documents reviewed by Iran International TV, two senior officials from the IRGC economic intelligence department, Mehdi Hajipour and Mehdi Badi, are the main architects of the scheme. Blockchain evidence shows that wallets controlled solely by Hajipour processed tokens worth over $21 million.
