ChainCatcher news, according to RBC.ru, based on the DFA issuance resolution published on the official website of the National Settlement Depository (NSD) of Russia, GazpromBank will issue digital financial assets (DFA) with a total value of 2 billion rubles (approximately 23.54 million USD).
It is reported that Russian DFA is a tokenized certificate of physical assets based on blockchain technology and does not belong to the category of cryptocurrencies or tokens traded on cryptocurrency exchanges. DFA can only be issued by operators of officially certified information systems of the Central Bank of Russia, including institutions such as Sberbank, Alfa Bank, Atomyze, Masterchain, and NSD.
