Blockchain payment infrastructure company Fipto has obtained its second stablecoin regulatory license in France
ChainCatcher news, according to The Fintech Times, blockchain payment infrastructure company Fipto has officially obtained a payment institution license issued by the French Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority (ACPR).
This is the company's second stablecoin-related regulatory license obtained in France, following its registration as a Digital Asset Service Provider (DASP). This license enables Fipto, headquartered in Paris, to send and receive global fiat payments on behalf of third parties, while optimizing the stablecoin transaction process by reducing intermediaries.
