According to ChainCatcher, as reported by Cointelegraph, unless there is a significant rebound in the coming days, Bitcoin and Ethereum will face their worst first quarter in years.

Swyftx chief analyst Pav Hundal stated that the likelihood of a "vertical surge" occurring within the six days before the end of the first quarter of 2025 is low. Hundal mentioned that the crypto market will be "somewhat flying blind" until mid-April, when the market should have a clearer understanding of U.S. President Trump's tariff plans. "Economic data shows that the global economy is in good shape," he added.

According to CoinGlass data, Ethereum (ETH) has dropped 37.98% in the first quarter of 2025 so far, marking the worst first quarter since 2018 (when it plummeted 46.61%). Meanwhile, Bitcoin (BTC) has fallen 6.49% in this quarter so far, which will end on March 31, marking the worst first quarter since 2020 (when it dropped 10.83%).
