ChainCatcher news, according to Politico, a super political action committee (Super PAC) network funded by the crypto industry will support two Republican candidates in Florida for the U.S. House special election on April 1.

The network includes Fairshake, Defend American Jobs, and others. Among them, Defend American Jobs will spend $1.2 million on ads supporting Florida Senator Randy Fine.

Fine previously posted on the X platform stating, "Floridians want to see crypto innovation," and called for "clear regulatory rules." This Super PAC will also invest $345,000 to support Jimmy Patronis, who plans to run for the seat of former Congressman Matt Gaetz.

Patronis had previously written to the Florida Management Council, requesting a study on whether part of the state pension could be invested in digital assets.

Currently, there are 4 vacant seats in the U.S. House, two of which are in Florida. If the Democrats win all the seats, the Republican majority in the House will be reduced to just one vote.
