Hong Kong-listed company EDA Group Holdings plans to spend up to 5 million USD to purchase cryptocurrency
ChainCatcher news, Hong Kong-listed company EDA Group Holdings has released a voluntary announcement, disclosing that the company's board of directors has proposed a cryptocurrency purchase plan with a total amount not exceeding 5 million USD. The company is currently exploring the application of blockchain technology to empower the cross-border e-commerce logistics industry, aiming to promote full-chain traceability of cross-border goods and cryptocurrency B2B settlements.
In addition, EDA Group Holdings announced the establishment of a dedicated department responsible for managing and supervising virtual asset business as well as conducting risk control.
