ChainCatcher news, according to the official announcement, the TRON Nile testnet has been upgraded to the GreatVoyage-v4.8.0 (Kant) pre-release version. This is a mandatory upgrade that will introduce several important updates and governance proposals: including migrating all Math operations to StrictMath to enhance node compatibility, strengthening consensus layer transaction verification to improve transaction processing consistency and stability, and adding multiple TVM instructions to be compatible with the EVM's Cancun upgrade, among others.

The official specifically reminds that if you have set up a Nile testnet node, you need to upgrade the node version as soon as possible. It is important to note that the proposals added in Nile testnet GreatVoyage - v4.8.0 will only take effect after voting, and these new features being effective in the Nile testnet does not mean they will also be effective in the mainnet.
