ChainCatcher news, the Spanish police have successfully dismantled a Bitcoin-themed cryptocurrency pyramid scheme that promoted "false cryptocurrency investments," resulting in losses of approximately $32.6 million for victims. The police have arrested 8 suspects, but it is estimated that "over 3,600 people" suffered losses in this scheme.
The Economic and Financial Crime Department of the National Police Force (CNP) revealed that the mastermind of this criminal network is a "computer programmer," who has been captured in Malaga.
