Gemini deployed 1,000 drones to form the largest Bitcoin symbol in history over Texas
ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, the cryptocurrency exchange Gemini organized a record-breaking drone show in Austin, Texas, deploying 1,000 drones to form the Bitcoin logo in the sky, setting the Guinness World Record for the largest aerial currency symbol display.
The event, held on March 13, aimed to celebrate the "American Strategic Bitcoin Reserve" initiative. The drone show showcased scenes such as rocket launches and moon landings, followed by the text "To places where the dollar cannot reach" after the Bitcoin logo.
The Bitcoin logo has undergone several evolutions since its inception. The original logo created by Satoshi Nakamoto was a coin with "BC" text embedded in the center. In February 2010, Satoshi replaced "BC" with "₿". In November of the same year, a new version of the logo designed by community member bitboy gained widespread support and became the official logo used to this day, featuring a bright orange background instead of gold and tilting the "₿" symbol 14% clockwise.
