ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, Bitcoin mining company Core Scientific, Inc. (CORZ) announced the appointment of investment banking veteran Jim Nygaard as the new Chief Financial Officer, who will officially take office on March 17.

Nygaard has nearly 30 years of financial experience, having worked at XMS Capital Partners and Morgan Stanley, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and capital markets operations.
