Data: Bybit has raised over 254,800 ETH, approximately 693 million USD, within 48 hours after the hack

According to ChainCatcher news, Spot On Chain has released the latest data update, stating that Bybit raised 254,830 ETH (approximately $693 million) within 48 hours after the hack, including:

  • 132,178 ETH ($367 million), possibly obtained through OTC trades with Galaxy Digital, FalconX, and Wintermute;
  • 122,652 ETH ($326 million), from loans by trading platforms/institutions such as Bitget, MEXC, Binance, and DWF Labs (which may also include personal borrowing by certain whales).

At the same time, the hacker has swapped 40,944 ETH ($115 million) for BTC and other assets across chains using Chainflip, THORChain, LiFi, DLN, and eXch. The hacker still holds 458,451 ETH ($1.29 billion), which accounts for approximately 91.7% of the stolen 499,395 ETH ($1.4 billion).
