Lula said, "From Trump's actions, he is trying to become a global emperor."
In addition, the Brazilian president stated that Trump must realize the importance of respecting the sovereignty of each country. Lula previously stated that Trump's proposal to take over the Gaza Strip and relocate Palestinians to other Middle Eastern countries is unfeasible, and he urged Trump not to "say whatever comes to mind."
