Slow Fog: Someone is impersonating Slow Fog data scientists, and German law enforcement has intervened
ChainCatcher news, Slow Mist posted on platform X stating that its security team received reports from victims, disclosing that someone impersonated a Slow Mist data scientist and acted as a Web3 recruiter to commit fraud, tricking victims into installing malware, resulting in the theft of victims' wallets and X accounts.
The Slow Mist team has launched an investigation and disclosed some known details. Currently, law enforcement in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, has intervened and advised the fraudster to immediately return the victims' funds.
Previous report, Slow Mist founder Yu Xian posted on platform X stating that someone impersonated a Slow Mist employee to commit fraud and steal coins.
