British police arrest two suspects involved in six-figure cryptocurrency fraud case
ChainCatcher news, according to Decrypt, British police have arrested and charged two men who are suspected of committing cryptocurrency fraud against a 75-year-old retiree from Aberdeenshire, resulting in a six-figure loss for the victim.
It is reported that the case was reported in July 2024. The Northeast Division of Police Scotland collaborated with West Midlands Police and South Yorkshire Police to arrest a 54-year-old man in Coventry and a 36-year-old man in Mexborough, both of whom were charged on the same day.
