HP acquires AI hardware company Humane for $116 million
ChainCatcher news, hardware startup Humane announced that it has reached a final agreement with HP to acquire Humane's key artificial intelligence capabilities, including its AI-driven platform CosmOS, highly skilled technical talent, and intellectual property with over 300 patents and patent applications. This $116 million deal is expected to be completed by the end of this month.
Humane was founded by former Apple employees Bethany Bongiorno and Imran Chaudhri, having raised over $230 million to create the smartphone alternative AI Pin, which will be discontinued on February 28 following this acquisition.
