Data: 12 U.S. state pension funds collectively hold approximately $330 million in Strategy company stocks

ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, reports that, according to cryptocurrency analyst Julian Fahrer, by the end of 2024, state pension funds or treasuries in 12 states in North America hold shares of Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) worth approximately $330 million.

The California State Teachers' Retirement Fund is the institution with the largest holdings. According to a 13F filing submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on February 14, the fund holds 285,785 shares, valued at approximately $83 million. Additionally, the fund holds 306,215 shares of Coinbase, valued at approximately $76 million.

Strategy is currently the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin globally, with over 470,000 Bitcoins, valued at approximately $46 billion at current prices.
