ChainCatcher news, according to official sources, the privacy and scalability solution Aztec based on ZK Rollup has announced the establishment of a foundation. The foundation will provide support to builders developing innovative applications to protect user privacy, achieve compliance, and maintain the universal language of zero-knowledge proofs, Noir.

The foundation will contribute to protocol operations, technical development, and business aspects, ensuring community involvement in key decisions. The goal of the foundation is to support emerging projects, promote the construction of a healthy and active ecosystem, help projects achieve self-sustainability, and support public welfare projects that drive adoption.

Zac Williamson will serve as the President and Chairman of the Board, while Arnaud Schenk will serve as the Executive Director of the foundation and a board member.
