Musk: The U.S. definitely doesn't need 450 federal agencies and should eliminate them completely
ChainCatcher news, according to Jinshi reports, Musk called on Thursday to "remove all agencies" from the U.S. federal government.
Since taking on the role of Minister of "Government Efficiency" with Trump's support, Musk has consolidated control over most government departments. Musk made the above remarks at the World Government Summit held in the UAE, wearing a black T-shirt that read "Tech Support." He joked that he was "the tech support for the White House." "How many agencies does it take to govern a country? 99? Definitely not 450." "I think we really need to eliminate entire agencies, rather than leaving a lot of them," Musk said. "If we don't get to the root of the problem, then the weeds can easily grow back."
