Slow Fog: Four.Meme attackers can pre-run liquidity pools on PancakeSwap to manipulate token prices
ChainCatcher message, according to a report from the Slow Mist security team, Four.Meme was previously subjected to a malicious attack. The attacker was able to conduct front-running trades by pre-creating liquidity pools with severely deviated prices on PancakeSwap v3. Since the project team did not verify the pool prices, when the tokens migrated to PancakeSwap v3, the system added liquidity based on the unbalanced pools created by the attacker, resulting in the depletion of the pool's assets.
Currently, Four.Meme has suspended DEX token issuance, and the team is working on a fix.
