ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, crypto trader and startup founder Loopify revealed that he has raised over $500,000 in cryptocurrency for humanitarian aid in Gaza. The initiative has been ongoing for nearly a year, during which photos and videos of food, clothing, and other supplies being distributed have been continuously released. In March of this year, the project raised its first $50,000 in just two weeks, primarily in the form of SOL and ETH donations.

Loopify stated on the X platform that this is his first time fundraising in a personal capacity and emphasized that he has previously donated six-figure amounts. He also contacted the nonprofit organization Human Appeal to help the organization accept cryptocurrency donations for the first time, noting that crypto payments are more convenient than traditional bank transfers.

Currently, the aid program is still in progress, and Loopify has recently traveled to Jordan to assess the situation regarding the entry of aid supplies into Gaza.
