ChainCatcher news, according to the official announcement, North American Bitcoin mining company Hut 8 (Nasdaq | TSX: HUT) released its operational report for January 2025. The company produced 65 Bitcoins that month, a decrease from 89 in the previous month, and currently holds 10,208 Bitcoins.
CEO Asher Genoot stated that the infrastructure upgrade work is nearing completion, preparing for the upcoming deployment of mining machines. In addition, the 205 MW Vega project is progressing smoothly and is expected to be powered on in the second quarter of 2025, in preparation for the approximately 15 EH/s hosting agreement reached with Bitmain.
