Opinion: If the pattern of 2022 repeats, the crypto market may need more than 2 months to "fully recover."
ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, crypto analyst Matthew Hyland stated that the crypto market may not recover to December levels until April. He pointed out that on February 3, the "largest liquidation event in crypto history" occurred, with over $2.24 billion liquidated in 24 hours.
Bybit co-founder and CEO Ben Zhou estimated that the actual total liquidation could be as high as $8-10 billion. Hyland noted that based on experiences from similar market turmoil events in 2020 and 2022, a full market recovery typically takes more than 2 months.
