This brings Google very close to Microsoft, which has stated that it will spend $80 billion on building AI data centers in the fiscal year ending in June. Meta Platforms plans to spend up to $65 billion on capital expenditures, just slightly behind. Meanwhile, Amazon expects its capital expenditures for 2024 to be $75 billion.
