WEEX exchange has burned WXT worth 130 million USD

ChainCatcher news, according to the announcement from WEEX Exchange, its platform token WEEX Token (WXT) has completed its first burn on January 31, with a total of 4 billion WXT burned, accounting for 40% of the total supply, with a destruction value of approximately 130 million USD.

According to the white paper, WXT will be burned quarterly in the future, with 20% of the quarterly profits from WEEX Exchange used for repurchase and destruction of WXT, and the number of tokens burned and on-chain records will be disclosed.
