Uniswap v4 has officially launched

ChainCatcher news, the decentralized exchange Uniswap has officially announced the launch of its latest version v4 on its official website. This version has been deployed on 10 chains, including Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, OP Mainnet, Base, BNB Chain, Blast, World Chain, Avalanche, and Zora Network.

Uniswap v4 introduces the Hooks feature, allowing developers to build custom logic for liquidity pools, trades, fees, and LP positions. Over 150 Hooks have already been developed. Additionally, the v4 version has also made significant optimizations in gas fees, with the cost of creating new liquidity pools potentially reduced by up to 99.99%.

In terms of security, Uniswap v4 has completed 9 independent audits, hosted the largest security competition in history, and offered a $15.5 million bug bounty program. Users can now provide liquidity through the Uniswap web application, and trading features will gradually open in the coming days.
