ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, the American sports betting site DraftKings has reached a settlement with the NFL Players Association, which had previously accused the platform of failing to pay for the use of NFL players' likenesses in NFTs.

DraftKings and the NFLPA stated in a joint letter to New York Federal Judge Analisa Torres on January 27 that they have mediated the lawsuit and have reached a settlement in principle "before reaching a final settlement agreement." Both parties requested a 60-day pause in the litigation, aiming to complete the settlement by March 28. The specific details of the settlement have not been disclosed.

Judge Torres had previously handled the SEC's lawsuit against Ripple, and the final settlement agreement requires her signature.
