ZachXBT: In December last year, the SUI network experienced a $29 million hacking incident, with approximately 6.27 million SUI stolen
ChainCatcher message, on-chain detective ZachXBT disclosed on his personal channel that on December 12, 2024, a significant hacking incident allegedly occurred on the SUI network, with approximately 6.27 million SUI (worth about 29 million USD) stolen.
The attacker then cross-chained the stolen funds to the Ethereum network via Bridgers and deposited them in batches into Tornado Cash for mixing. Due to the current limitations of the Sui block explorer, complete tracking of this theft is somewhat challenging.
