CME FedWatch: The probability of the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates by 25 basis points in January is only 2.1%
ChainCatcher news, according to CME's "FedWatch" data, there are 3 days until the next FOMC meeting, with a 2.1% probability of a 25 basis point rate cut in January and a 97.9% probability of no change.
The probability of the Fed cutting rates by a cumulative 50 basis points by March is 0.6%, the probability of a cumulative 25 basis point cut is 27.0%, and the probability of no change is 72.4%.
