ChainCatcher news, former Intel director Lip-Bu Tan joins the board of Bitcoin mining chip design company Auradine.
Auradine announced the appointment on Wednesday, emphasizing Tan's forty years of hardware and software experience in the semiconductor field. Tan is the founder and chairman of the venture capital firm Walden International, as well as a founding managing partner of Celesta Capital and Walden Catalyst. He serves on the boards of several companies, including SambaNova Systems, Schneider Electric, and Credo Technology. He also previously served as the CEO of Cadence Design Systems.
