Bitcoin Layer 2 project GOAT Network launches BitVM2 testbed
ChainCatcher news, according to Chainwire, the Bitcoin Layer 2 project GOAT Network has announced the launch of the BitVM2 testbed.
GOAT Network adopts the latest BitVM2 standard and plans to integrate BitVM2 into the future GOAT Bridge, aiming to achieve a milestone in inheriting the native security of Bitcoin Layer 1.
Kevin Liu, co-founder of GOAT Network, stated: "Bitcoin maximalists have long been skeptical of Layer 2 solutions due to the vulnerabilities of multi-signature mechanisms to hacking and manipulation, which pose risks." "With the upcoming GOAT Bridge powered by BitVM2, we will directly address these issues by providing a fully open-source and verifiable framework."
