VanEck executive: RIOT suspends expansion plans for the world's largest Bitcoin mining facility
ChainCatcher news, VanEck's Director of Digital Asset Research Matthew Sigel disclosed that Bitcoin mining company RIOT announced the suspension of its expansion plan for the world's largest Bitcoin mining facility, located in Corsicana and sized at 600 MW, and is accelerating discussions with potential partners in the artificial intelligence/high-performance computing (AI/HPC) field.
The company expects capital expenditures to decrease by $245 million in 2025.
