Silk Road founder: Did not participate in any meme coin projects, no official Ross coin
ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, the founder of the dark web Silk Road, Ross Ulbricht, posted on X warning cryptocurrency users not to invest in any meme coins named after him.
Ulbricht stated: "I am not involved with or associated with any meme coins named after me. There is no official Ross coin."
CoinMarketCap data shows that at least one token, ROSS, is named after Ulbricht and features his likeness, launched in May 2024, with its price significantly rising after the U.S. election day before Trump took office.
