In a 30-page complaint obtained prior to submission, the Public Interest Law Firm's National Security Advisor claims that the non-governmental DOGE group violated a 1972 law that requires advisory committees providing advice to the executive branch to adhere to certain regulations regarding disclosure, employment, and other practices.
