Washington lobbyists are seeking to advance their agenda through the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)

ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg, long-time Washington lobbyists who have roamed Congress and federal agencies are now targeting the government efficiency department (DOGE) co-led by Musk, which aims to provide elected President Trump with recommendations on spending cuts and regulatory reforms.

So far, its members have been organizing and coordinating in secret meetings just a few blocks from the White House. Many companies and industry groups have begun seeking DOGE to advance their agendas and protect their interests, rather than relying on more traditional committees like Congress and federal agencies.
