ChainCatcher news, according to a report by Yonhap Infomax, to prevent the recurrence of trading connection delays caused by computer system failures experienced by various cryptocurrency exchanges in South Korea after the country declared a state of emergency on December 3 last year, the operators of South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Upbit, Dunamu, as well as Bithumb and Coinone, submitted response plans to the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) last month.

One key measure in these plans is the addition of a special clause in the contract with Amazon Web Services (AWS). This clause allows for the temporary increase of server capacity when AWS cloud traffic exceeds preset limits, ensuring temporary expansion of server capacity during high traffic periods to avoid similar system failures.
