A former Coinbase employee claims that their Coinbase account was frozen without reason, preventing them from booking a wedding venue

ChainCatcher news, former Coinbase employee Griffin McShane publicly questioned Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong on social media, stating that his account was frozen without reason for two months, preventing him from paying the deposit for his wedding venue. McShane emphasized that the account had always been used to receive his salary and conduct cryptocurrency transactions, including direct deposits of his salary during his time at Coinbase, and there had never been any issues before.

According to McShane, Coinbase implemented the account freeze under the pretext of "protecting users," but for two months, the platform provided no explanation and offered no effective customer support. "It’s unbelievable that the only suggestion to resolve this issue was to tag Brian and Coinbase on social media and hope they would see it."
