ChainCatcher news, independent developer Sebastian Vogelsang is developing a photo-sharing app called Flashes for the decentralized social media project Bluesky. The app uses the same technology as Bluesky, namely the AT protocol, and is built using the code from the developer's earlier Bluesky client, Skeets.

When Flashes is released, it will support photo posts with up to 4 images and videos up to 1 minute long, with content synchronized to Bluesky, and comments and messages will be exchanged in real time. The developer expects to launch Flashes to the public in a few weeks, with a TestFlight beta version released beforehand.
