ChainCatcher news, Franklin Templeton predicts in a new report that AI agents will fundamentally change the way content is generated on social media and play an indispensable role across various industries and platforms.

It added, "Just like today's human influencers, these agents can launch their own brands, products, music, movies, etc., bringing significant economic value to their ecosystems."

However, the report believes that AI agents are still in the early stages of development: "Although these agents are not yet fully autonomous and are almost useless in their current state, this emerging field may have tremendous potential and is worth closely monitoring for its development and maturation."
