The Public Investigation Office stated that on the afternoon of the same day, it sent a document to the 55th Guard Brigade requesting approval for personnel from the Public Investigation Office, the National Investigation Headquarters of the National Police Agency, and the Ministry of National Defense Investigation Headquarters to enter the official residence to execute Yoon Suk-yeol's detention order. The 55th Guard Brigade subsequently replied with "approved for entry." According to the Presidential Guard Law, the 55th Guard Brigade is subordinate to the Presidential Security Office, managed by the Security Office, and is responsible for the outer security tasks of the presidential residence.
